EnergTech
A tech brand that holds its own at oil-and-gas trade shows.
what we delivered.
- Brand identity
- B2B website
- Sales decks
- Capability statements
the problem
EnergTech sells advanced digital solutions into oil & gas — a market where the buying committee judges credibility before it reads the spec sheet.
Selling software into oil and gas means selling into an industry that is conservative by design, where an unproven vendor is a risk to someone's operational record. The buying committee spans operations, IT and procurement, each with a different definition of credible, and most of them will form a judgement from a capability statement or a trade-show stand before a demo is ever scheduled.
strategy
Build a brand that earns the meeting. Industrial, confident, technical — and a website plus sales kit that move serious operators from interest to conversation.
The brand had to look like it belonged on a plant site rather than in a startup pitch. Industrial confidence, technical literacy, and none of the softness that reads as consumer — because in this category, looking like a young software company is itself the objection to overcome.
execution
Brand identity, a B2B website pitched at operations and IT decision-makers, a sales-deck system, and capability statements ready for tender and trade-show use.
The website was pitched at two readers at once: an operations lead who wants to know what it does on site, and an IT decision-maker who wants to know how it integrates and who else runs it. The sales-deck system was modularised so the team can lead with whichever proof matters to the room, and capability statements were formatted for tender submission and trade-show hand-off, where most first impressions in this sector actually happen.
creative process
We built the visual language around industrial reality rather than technology cliché — no abstract network graphics, no glowing interfaces floating in space. Typography and structure do the work of signalling engineering seriousness, and the collateral system was designed on the assumption it would be printed, carried, photocopied and left on a desk, so it holds up in the unglamorous formats where B2B buying decisions genuinely get made.
result
A tech brand that holds its own at oil & gas trade shows and shortens the buying cycle.
lessons
In heavy industry, credibility is the product until the pilot proves otherwise. Design for the tender document and the trade-show table, because those artefacts are doing the selling long before anyone sees the software.
