what we delivered.

the problem

GCC SMEs need an accounting partner they can actually understand. DC Middle East needed a brand that felt approachable and a site that turned that warmth into qualified bookings.

Accounting in the GCC has become a compliance conversation — VAT, e-invoicing, changing filing rules — and the firms that talk about it in the language of the regulation lose the owner who just wants to know whether they are exposed. SME founders are not shopping for technical superiority. They are shopping for someone who will pick up the phone and explain it in a sentence.

strategy

Make accounting feel human. A friendly-but-rigorous identity, a clear services site, and always-on social that keeps DCME present where SME owners spend their attention.

Warmth is a risky position in a category built on precision, so the identity had to hold both at once: friendly enough to call, rigorous enough to trust with a filing. The tone was defined before the visual work, because the failure mode here is a brand that looks approachable and then writes like a tax circular.

execution

Brand identity, a services-led website with lead-gen flows, monthly social content, and templates that let the team publish without losing tone.

The website was organised around what an SME owner is actually trying to establish — what this costs, what it involves, whether they are already late — with lead-gen flows placed where that anxiety peaks rather than in a single contact page. Monthly social keeps DCME present through the compliance calendar, and the template system exists so the team can publish quickly without the voice drifting back to jargon.

creative process

We wrote the voice guide first and designed to it. Every visual decision was tested against a simple question: does this look like a firm that would explain something twice without making you feel slow? Colour and type were kept warm but disciplined, and the content templates carry examples of the tone rather than adjectives describing it — the fastest way to keep a growing team consistent.

result

An accounting brand SME owners feel they can call — with the systems to turn that into pipeline. It now books 25 qualified appointments a month.

lessons

In a technical category, clarity is the differentiator that competitors find hardest to copy. Anyone can claim expertise; very few are willing to write plainly enough to prove they have it.
